| The Greene County Career Center will hold its Open House and Chili Supper on Thursday, Jan. 12 from 5-7 p.m. at the main campus. The Chili Supper is free and open to the public. This annual event provides an opportunity for the community to learn first-hand about the Career Center’s high school and adult workforce Education programs and services. High school career-technical lab areas will be open with program instructors and academic teachers present to answer questions. Information will be available regarding trade apprenticeship programs and college representatives will discuss free college credit options. Adult Workforce Education programs will be highlighted as well. Classes are being formed in career preparation programs like Basic Peace Officer, HVAC, Medical Office Specialist, Medical Assistant and the short-term class State-Tested Nursing Assistant.
