Beavercreek Women’s League to Meet January 4th
The January 4th meeting of the Beavercreek Women’s League will feature a presentation by the Dayton Science, Math, Engineering and Technology (STEM) School. The school is currently accepting applications for Grades 6-10 for the Fall of 2012.
There will be food and social time at 9 AM and then the business meeting at 9:30AM, followed by the program. The meeting takes place at Peace Lutheran Church, 3350 Dayton-Xenia Rd. in Beavercreek. Free child-care is available provided the children arrive before 10 AM. Visitors and guests are always welcome.
Tickets for the spring Scholarship Luncheon scheduled for Saturday, April 21 will be on sale. Tickets are $35 and proceeds provide scholarship grants to deserving 2012 Beavercreek High School female graduates as well as for adult Greene County women transitioning back to college.
If Beavercreek City Schools are cancelled due to inclement weather, the meeting for that month is also cancelled; however, school delays do not alter the planned meeting. Questions can be directed to the BWL Publicity Chair at 431-5529.
